The A.O. Smith ITE series is a range of high-capacity, indirect water heaters designed for large-scale usage in solar thermal energy systems. This series includes five models: ITE 400, ITE 500, ITE 600, ITE 750, and ITE 1000, offering capacities from 389 to 1024 liters to suit various commercial and industrial applications.

- High-Pressure Rating: Designed to withstand high pressures, with a maximum working pressure of 1000 kPa (10 bar) for the tank and 1600 kPa (16 bar) for the coil.
- Temperature Resilience: Capable of handling high temperatures, with a maximum operating temperature of 95°C for the tank and 110°C for the coil.
- Corrosion Protection: Each unit is equipped with a replaceable magnesium anode for added protection against corrosion.
- Easy Maintenance: Insulated access cover allows for comprehensive waterside maintenance, ensuring longevity and optimal performance.
- Energy Efficiency: The ITE 400 and ITE 500 models are energy-rated with a load profile of C, indicating good energy efficiency for their size class.
