The A.O. Smith IT Series is a comprehensive range of indirect water heaters designed to meet a wide variety of commercial and industrial hot water needs. With ten models ranging from 300 to 2800 liters in capacity, the IT Series offers solutions for small to large-scale applications.
Key Features:
- Wide Capacity Range: The series includes models IT 300, IT 400, IT 500, IT 600, IT 750, IT 1000, IT 1500, IT 2000, IT 2500, and IT 3000, providing capacities from 300 to 2800 liters.
- High Performance: Nominal outputs range from 46 kW to 156 kW, ensuring efficient hot water production for diverse demands.
- Single Separation Spiral Heat Exchanger: Enhances heat transfer efficiency.
- PermaGlas Ultra Coat Enamel Lining: Standard on all models, providing excellent corrosion resistance.
- Insulated Design: Features an insulated ring base for easy installation and an insulated clean-out door for comprehensive waterside maintenance.
- Replaceable Anode: Extends the life of the water heater by providing additional corrosion protection.
- Removable Insulation Jacket: Comes standard with the system, improving energy efficiency.
Optional Features:
- Flexible anode for installation in confined areas
- Temperature and pressure valve with stainless-steel spring (set to 99°C and max 10 bar water pressure)
- Analogue temperature gauge (0-120°C range)
- Performance: The IT Series offers impressive draw-off capacities, with the largest model (IT 3000) providing up to 4936 liters in 30 minutes at a 44°C temperature rise. Continuous flow rates at a 44°C rise range from 899 l/h for the IT 300 to 3049 l/h for the IT 3000.
- Energy Efficiency: Models IT 300, IT 400, and IT 500 are rated as Energy Class C. Standby losses range from 92W for the smallest model to 243W for the largest, demonstrating the series' focus on energy conservation.
- Construction and Safety: The tanks are designed to withstand maximum working pressures of 10 bar (7 bar for larger models), while the coils can handle pressures up to 25 bar (varying by model). Maximum operating temperatures for the tank range from 85°C to 95°C, with coil temperatures reaching up to 160°C for the IT 300 model.
