The A.O. Smith Innovo series represents a line of fully room-sealed condensing high-efficiency water heaters, boasting an impressive efficiency rating of up to 98%. This range includes nine models: IR-12-160, IR-20-160, IR-12-200, IR-20-200, IR-24-245, IR-32-245, IR-24-285, IR-32-285, and IR-32-380, offering nominal outputs ranging from 11.7 to 31.3 kW.
Key features of the Innovo series:
- Automatic gas/air premix burning system with burner modulation
- Standard low-maintenance powered anodes
- Flue lengths up to 75 metres, depending on unit and flue gas system configuration
- Heat exchanger designed to minimize limescale deposits
- External on/off switch
- Voltage-free contact for general fault indication to BMS
- Maximum set point of 85°C
- Easy access to all components through the front cover for simplified servicing and maintenance
- Complete insulation for low standby losses
- Compatibility with PP and aluminum flue gas exhaust materials
- Suitable for both natural gas and butane/propane
The Innovo series offers multiple flue options (B23, C13, C33, C43, C53, C63) and is available in various capacities from 160 to 380 liters. All models in the series have achieved an A energy rating, with load profiles ranging from xL to xxL, demonstrating their high efficiency and performance.
These water heaters are designed for versatility and efficiency, with features like quick heat-up times and high draw-off capacities. For example, the largest model, IR-32-380, can provide up to 510 liters of hot water immediately at a ∆T of 44°C, making it suitable for high-demand applications.
